Working With Tina

Thank you for considering booking a consultation with me.  I look forward to speaking with you. Here are a few things that will be useful to you in relation to working together.

By booking a consultation with Tina Horrell, you agree to the terms listed below.

Terms and Conditions of Working Together:

Booking:

When booking your consultation, please check you have chosen the correct time zone. I am in Australia, so I may be working at different times than you expect.

Cancellations:

Please give 24 hours notice of cancellation of your consultation. I often have a waiting list for last-minute consults, so please give me as much notice as possible to rebook the slot. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged.

The Consultation:

The consultation will take place at the time indicated. If you arrive late at the meeting, we will still have to finish at the correct time to be ready for my next client. You be charged the full consultation rate.

For video consultations, I will send you a link to join the video meeting. If for any reason it does not work, we will find another way to communicate. Please check your emails before your consultation is about to begin.

I might ask you for more information or photographs; we can discuss this as required during your consultation. This may be necessary to help determine the correct remedy.

Follow-up Consultations:

Typically follow-up appointments are required every four-five weeks. Follow-up consultations reduce in frequency after three months or so, or once we start some good progress. This is based on individual needs so it will be discussed at your appointment.

Contact Between Consultations:

I might ask for email updates in between consultations if needed. If you require frequent, ongoing email support, a paid appointment will be necessary to evaluate the situation fully.

Pharmacy:

I will send you a prescription for your remedies after our consultation. I will also send you contact details of where to purchase them. You can purchase the remedies from other sources if you have alternative pharmacies that stock the prescribed medicine.

First Aid Prescribing:

You can book a 15-minute acute appointment using my online schedule if you have acute symptoms you need help with. If there is no available time, you may email me.

Homeopathy alongside mainstream healthcare:

Homeopathy works well alongside mainstream healthcare programs and medications. You will not be asked to come off medications during your treatment. You may be asked to go for additional health checks to see if your medications are still required or require any adjustment.

Homeopathy is not instead of Accident and Emergency Care:

If you need emergency health care, please get in touch with your Doctor or Emergency Services.

Consultations & Confidentiality:

Everything discussed at each consultation is confidential and will not be discussed with anyone else unless I have your specific instruction to discuss your information with other health professionals.

Code of Conduct:

I abide by the homeopathic Code of Ethics

Emails:

If you require frequent ongoing email support, a paid appointment will be necessary to evaluate the situation fully. I may also suggest purchasing the Piecing The Puzzle Program, where I offer an unlimited amount of support. Please discuss the program with me in your consultation if you are interested in knowing more. When you book a consultation with me, I will add your email address to my own client list to contact you about your consultations and provide free infrequent newsletters. You can unsubscribe from this list at any time.

Health Notes:

I am required by law to keep your consultation notes for 7 years. These will not be shared with anyone unless the law requires me to submit information to protect life.

Technology:

The use of the Internet, video calls, messenger, emails or telephone calls: I will take every precaution reasonable possible to ensure the privacy of your information, but it cannot be guaranteed across these technologies.

Payment:

If you do not pay for the consultation by Paypal upon booking the appointment, I will send an invoice to you after the consultation. You can choose whether to pay by a card or by Bank Transfer. Please settle your invoice within 24 hours of your consultation.

Technology:

I use Zoom, Whereby, WhatsApp, Skype or Messenger for Video calls. I use email for contact between consultations.
